All of our horses are barefoot (un-shod). They work not only in the arena, but on the roads with healthy sound feet that are correctly trimmed to promote straightness and efficiency in the limbs.

Due to the limited choice and availability of well-designed and user-friendly hoofstands, we have designed our own.

Peter Laidely has travelled the world trimming the feet of all sizes of horses and ponies with his homemade non-adjustable lightweight hoof stand, so we took his advice seriously when it came to designing a one-height stand, despite the fact that most others are adjustable.

The fact is there is not much range in the height that is comfortable to work at. Horses seem to appreciate the solid feeling more than adjustability, and we also find that they get used to one height.
